Drop your inhibitions and get your kit off. Whether it's skinny dipping at a secret beach, a soak under outback skies or joining thousands in their birthday suits to welcome back the light, here are Australia's best places to get naked.
DREAMTIME ESCARPMENT, KINGS CREEK STATION, NT
Endless outback skies, untouched bushland and grazing wildlife – take it all in from your alfresco shower and tub at Kings Creek Station. Hidden deep in Kings Canyon Country, there are no walls to separate you from the rugged outback landscape when you perform your ablutions at the station's glamping tents. And with no-one around for miles, it's a completely private place for a soak in your birthday suit. See kingscreekstation.com.au

Tasmania's winter music and arts festival Dark Mofo returns in 2022 and hopefully its Nude Solstice Swim in back too. Held as part of Dark Mofo which delves into centuries-old winter solstice rituals, the annual swim sees up to 1000 brave souls take to the chilly waters of Hobart's River Derwent. It's all about losing your inhibitions to welcome back the light after the nation's longest, coldest night. Brrrr. The festival will be held June 15–22 in Hobart with the program released in autumn.
